Application for Chief Markers for the 2020 ATAR course examinations
The School Curriculum and Standards Authority is seeking expressions of interest for the position of Chief Marker for the 2020 ATAR course practical and written examinations. People who have previously been Chief Markers/Chief Examiners/examiners or have at least five years’ experience teaching in the relevant course and some experience of marking ATAR course examinations are encouraged to complete an application.
Prior to completing the application, it is important that the following document is read and understood.
In 2020, online marking of written examinations will continue for the following ATAR courses:
- English as an Additional Language or Dialect
- Human Biology
- Mathematics Applications
- Mathematics Methods
- Mathematics Specialist
- Modern History
- Physical Education Studies
- Religion and Life.
Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
All Chief Markers must have a current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) conducted by the Department of Education and given a Screening Clearance Number (SCN) prior to the examinations commencing.
Chief Markers will be informed of their SCN status at appointment. If the SCN is not current, information will be supplied about how to complete a new NCCHC.
Applications must be submitted no later than 5.00 pm on Monday, 24 February 2020.
