2021 Key Messages - Primary and Secondary Briefings

School principals, deputy principals and primary teachers (up to two per school) are invited to register to attend a briefing about the School Curriculum and Standards Authority’s 2021 areas of emphasis.

The Primary school briefings will focus on the Authority’s current work which includes development of Kindergarten to Year 6 resources and the consultative process for the review of the F-10 Australian Curriculum by ACARA.

The Secondary school briefings will provide an opportunity to be updated on curriculum, assessment and moderation for Years 7–12 and to provide feedback to the School Curriculum and Standards Authority Board. The briefing will also provide an update on the Authority’s development of new Years 7–10 resources, the review of the senior secondary syllabuses and the consultative process for the review of the F-10 Australian Curriculum by ACARA.

The briefings will be presented across the state, in February and March, by the Authority’s Executive Director Allan Blagaich, and senior members of his executive team.
