Teaching and assessment workshops – new teachers of Human Biology General and Science in Practice General in 2026

The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) will be conducting Teaching and assessment workshops for new teachers of Human Biology General and Science in Practice General courses in February 2026.

The purpose of the workshops is to provide teachers with information on the Authority’s assessment requirements for the courses.

The dates for the workshops are:

  • Science in Practice General: Tuesday, 24 February 2026, 3.30–5.30 pm
  • Human Biology General: Wednesday, 25 February 2026, 3.30–5.30 pm.

The workshops are not compulsory and are free to attend. Schools are responsible for any costs incurred by attending the workshops.

Note: the Authority uses Webex as the delivery platform for all online briefings, seminars and workshops. Registrants will need to download the application prior to the meeting to participate.
