All schools must finalise their students’ U status for Year 11 courses from 2025 in the Student Information Records System (SIRS).

Schools can amend their 2025 Year 11 results to finalise a student’s U status and re-upload the RSCOS file until Thursday, 19 February 2026. After this date, the SIRS facility will be locked, and no further changes can be made.

All Year 11 students who have been withdrawn from a course at school in 2025 need to be formally withdrawn in SIRS. Year 11 students allocated a U notation in 2025, who have subsequently left the school, or who no longer participate in the course, must also be formally withdrawn.

Schools may incur a late fee for students not formally withdrawn by Thursday, 19 February 2026.

Note: where a student’s U status is not amended by this deadline, the U will default to an E grade.
