New teachers of Science in Practice General in 2027 – Online teaching and assessment seminar

The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) is offering an online teaching and assessment seminar for new teachers of the Science in Practice General course.
The purpose of the seminar is to provide teachers with information on the Authority’s assessment requirements for the Science in Practice General course.
The dates for the seminar are:
- Tuesday, 10 November 2026, 8.30–11.30 am
- Tuesday, 10 November 2026, 3.30–5.30 pm
- Tuesday, 23 February 2027, 3.30–5.30 pm.
The seminar is not compulsory and is free to attend. Schools are responsible for any costs incurred (for example, teacher relief) by attending a seminar.

Note: the Authority uses Webex as the delivery platform for all online events. Registrants will need to download the application prior to the event to participate.
