The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) is offering a professional learning workshop in Term 3, 2026 to support schools with their delivery of the revised Indonesian ATAR Year 11 syllabus in 2027.

The workshop is intended for schools offering the Indonesian ATAR course in 2027.

The workshop will focus on:

• developing a shared understanding of the teaching and assessment requirements
• exploring sample support materials provided by the Authority.

The workshop will be held from 8.30 am to 3.00 pm on Thursday, 10 September 2026 at the Authority’s Cannington office.

Attendance is optional and free; however, schools are responsible for any associated costs, such as teacher relief.

The revised Indonesian ATAR course replaces the current Indonesian: Second Language course. Schools are required to teach the revised Indonesian ATAR Year 11 syllabus from 2027.
