Science learning area – Minor syllabus changes for 2027

The Biology ATAR Years 11 and 12, Engineering Studies ATAR Years 11 and 12, Human Biology General Years 11 and 12, Marine and Maritime Studies ATAR Years 11 and 12, Marine and Maritime Studies General Year 12, Physics ATAR Years 11 and 12, Psychology ATAR Year 12, Science in Practice General Years 11 and 12 syllabuses for teaching in 2027 have minor syllabus changes. The updated syllabuses are now available under the ‘What’s Changing’ accordion on the course pages and labelled as ‘For teaching from 2027’.

The Authority is reviewing its support materials as a result of these changes.
