The Music ATAR designated works list will not be updated for 2026.

This means that Year 11 students will study works from the current list in 2026, and Year 12 students will study works from the current list in 2026 and 2027.

An updated list will be published early in 2026 for implementation in Year 11 in 2027 and for Year 12 in 2028.

The Music ATAR designated works list 2023–2027 is available under the ‘Support Materials: Written component’ accordion on the Music page of the School Curriculum and Standards Authority website at https://senior-secondary.scsa.wa.edu.au/syllabus-and-support-materials/arts/music.
