The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) is offering an online briefing in Term 4, 2026 to support schools delivering the Latin ATAR course Year 11 and Year 12 syllabus for teaching in Year 11 from 2027.

The briefing will focus on developing a shared understanding of the teaching and assessment requirements for Year 11 in 2027.

Although this briefing is intended for schools offering the Latin ATAR course for Year 11 in 2027, schools planning on offering the course for Year 11 in 2028 are also encouraged to attend.

The briefing will be held from 3.30–4.15 pm on Tuesday, 1 December 2026.
