The Kindergarten and Pre-primary Statement and the Year 1 and Year 2 Statement are now available on the School Curriculum and Standards Authority website. These statements form part of the mandated Guiding Principles in the Western Australian Curriculum and Assessment Outline (the Outline).

The Kindergarten and Pre-primary Statement and the Year 1 and Year 2 Statement set out the expectations for high-quality, child centred early childhood education in Western Australia that builds on each child’s funds of knowledge to foster learning, development and wellbeing.
