Student Records Management System (SRMS) - Privacy Collection Notice
The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority)is collecting personal information on the Student Records Management System (SRMS) for one or more of the following purposes:
- verifying your identity to provide access to your account and school data
- facilitating the creation and maintenance of SRMS accounts for staff at your school
- processing Year 11 equivalent studies applications
- processing Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) language applications
- processing Year 12 Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EAL/D) declarations.
Personal information collected may be disclosed to Authority personnel, Authority-approved system developers, the staff members at your school, and, in the case that you are involved in processing a declaration or application, other members of your school who have access to that declaration or application.
If the Authority wishes to disclose your personal information for purposes other than those stated, your consent will be requested unless the disclosure is permitted under or by law.
The collection of this personal information is authorised under the provisions of The School Curriculum and Standards Authority Act 1997.
If you choose not to provide your personal information, the Authority may not be able to provide access to your SRMS account, and you will not be able to participate in the processing of applications and declarations.
