The Western Australian Curriculum: Mathematics will be one of the featured presentations at the regional Mathematics conference to be hosted by the Mathematics Association of Western Australia (MAWA) in June 2025.

MAWA will host a regional mathematics conference in Kalgoorlie on Saturday, 21 June 2025. Designed for early childhood, primary and secondary teachers, the conference will feature presentations from MAWA, the School Curriculum and Standards Authority and the Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority, as well as MAWA partners. A variety of topics will be explored, including the Western Australian Curriculum: Mathematics, mathematics content and pedagogical approaches, and the integration of First Nations knowledge, history, and culture into mathematics.
