Application for marking the OLNA 2022 Round 1 - Writing

The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) is seeking applications from qualified people who wish to be considered for appointment as markers for the OLNA Writing component.

Training will take place on Saturday, 5 March 2022. Marking will be from Tuesday, 8 March to Friday, 18 March 2022.

This marking round will only be available for home markers. Team leaders will be on site at the Authority's offices.

Selection is based on the following criteria:

  1. Relevant qualifications and experience – it is preferred that the applicant has a relevant teaching degree and experience teaching primary literacy or secondary English.
  2. Previous OLNA marking – accuracy and speed.
  3. Other previous marking experience e.g. NAPLAN or ATAR course examinations.

Prior to completing the online application form, it is important that the following document is read and understood.

Applications for marking close on Monday, 7 February 2022. Only online applications will be accepted.

Markers will be notified about appointments by Monday, 14 February 2022.
