Supervisor applications for 2026 ATAR Course Written Examinations
Supervisor positions are available for the School Curriculum and Standards Authority’s (the Authority’s) Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) course written examinations 2026.
The Authority is responsible for establishing examination centres to conduct ATAR course written examinations. Over 13 000 students throughout Western Australia and overseas will participate in these examinations.
Examination Logistics is seeking over 800 Supervisors to assist with the conduct of examinations at established examination centres. Typically, Supervisors work in a team to assist their Chief Supervisor or the Second-In-Charge Supervisor: written to ensure examinations are conducted fairly and in accordance with the Authority’s policies and procedures.
Supervisors report to the Manager – Examination Logistics.
The Supervisor role is suitable for people interested in casual work, including university students, retirees and pensioners. Previous experience within the following environments would beneficial:
- a teaching service environment
- an examination environment in a supervising role.
We will also consider applicants with transferable skills which demonstrate an ability to meet the expectations of this role.

The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) is collecting personal information on the Authority’s online application system for the purpose of:
- identifying individuals as a new or existing applicant in the Authority’s Student Information Records System (SIRS) and crosschecking to ensure that an individual only has one profile in SIRS
- checking that existing personal information is accurate including eligibility to work in Western Australia and status of the applicant’s National Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) and Working with Children (WWC) Check card
- selecting prospective employees based upon qualifications and/or experience, preparing contracts to offer employment as a seasonal casual and creating or updating an employee profile on the Department of Education (DoE) Human Resources Management Information System (HRMIS).
Your personal information collected will be disclosed to authorised personnel at the Authority and the Department of Education.
If you choose not to provide your personal information, the Authority will not be able to process your casual appointment application.
