Initial teacher education students residing in Western Australia and/or enrolled at a Western Australian university who wish to access the Extranet must submit a request form to the Authority. Access will be granted on a time-limited basis of two years, after which they may reapply.

Initial teacher education students will be required to submit proof of enrolment* in their relevant course/s and proof of Western Australian residency if enrolled at a university outside of Western Australia.

* Proof of enrolment can either be a Statement of Enrolment or Confirmation of Enrolment which can be downloaded from their university student portal.

The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) collect personal information through the Extranet Application form to process your request; the collected information is outlined in this application form. Your personal information is collected so the Authority can verify your identity and ensure you are authorised to access the Authority’s Extranet.

Your personal information will be disclosed to the Authority’s authorised personnel responsible for processing this application and contacting you if further clarification is needed. If the Authority wishes to disclose your personal information for purposes other than those stated, your consent will be requested unless the disclosure is permitted by law. The collection of personal information is authorised under the provisions of the School Curriculum and Standards Authority Act 1997. If you choose not to provide your personal information, the Authority may not be able to process your application.
