The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) will be offering professional learning opportunities to support regional schools with familiarisation of the Western Australian curriculum for Pre‑primary to Year 6 Humanities and Social Sciences, Mathematics, Science and Technologies. These in-person professional learning opportunities will take place throughout June, July, August and September.
The Authority will provide teacher relief payments for schools within the systems/sector for up to two teachers per each half-day workshop in each learning area (or a full day, if the teacher attends both sessions). Participants will receive letters on the day to progress the teacher relief payment. A digital presentation pack, which can be used to facilitate professional learning at the school level, will also be sent to participants after the workshop.
