The Western Australian Curriculum: English and the Western Australian Curriculum: Health and Physical Education have been adopted and adapted from the Australian Curriculum version 9 and are now available for implementation in 2025.
Please note that support resources to assist teachers in implementing the curriculum in these learning areas are currently being updated. The resources on the Authority website may still support teachers in planning for teaching, learning and assessment.

The Western Australian Curriculum: Humanities and Social Sciences, the Western Australian Curriculum: Mathematics, the Western Australian Curriculum: Science and the Western Australian Curriculum: Technologies have been adopted and adapted from the Australian Curriculum version 9 and are now available for familiarisation in 2025.

Meeting WACE Requirements 2025 Seminars
The School Curriculum and Standards Authority (the Authority) is providing a range of seminars during Term 1 2025 to assist schools in meeting WACE requirements in 2025.

Assessment workshop for Year 11 and Year 12 Mathematics Foundation 2025
The workshop will focus on building a shared understanding of the assessment requirements for Mathematics Foundation as well as developing valid and reliable assessment tasks and marking keys to collect evidence in relation to the Grade Descriptions.

SIRS Information and Training
These sessions will introduce the functions of the Student Information Records System (SIRS). Attendees will gain an understanding of working in SIRS, uploading files, and the nature of common issues encountered with SIRS.
