2015
The Authority provides information each year on the participation and achievement of students in Years 10, 11 and 12 who are studying School Curriculum and Standards Authority courses, Vocational Education and Training units of competency or endorsed programs.
The 2015 statistics below are based on information provided by both government and non-government schools. They are also inclusive of students who:
- have completed course units
- have completed endorsed programs, and
- successfully completed units of competency.
Year 12 student data for 2015
Caution needs to be exercised when interpreting and making comparisons to previous years with the Year 12 data for 2015 as there was a ‘half cohort’ of students. This was a result of a legislated change to the school starting age in Western Australian schools which created a half cohort of students that moved through schools from 2001 to 2015 This group finally exited the system in 2015 (Year 12).
